APEDA Registration

Overview

APEDA, the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority, is a statutory body under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry set up by the APEDA Act, 1985. Exporters of scheduled products such as fruits, vegetables, meat, dairy, cereals, and processed foods must register with APEDA and obtain a Registration-cum-Membership Certificate. The certificate is a condition for exporting the scheduled products and for accessing APEDA's schemes. Registration is done online through the APEDA portal.

Objective

To register exporters of scheduled agricultural and processed food products with APEDA so they can export those products and access its support schemes.

The process

   Confirm scheduled product

   Check that your export product falls within the schedule of products administered by APEDA.

   Apply online

   Register on the APEDA portal using the Import Export Code and business details.

   Upload documents

   Attach the IEC, bank certificate, and supporting company documents as required.

4. 4
   Pay the registration fee

   Complete the online payment of the applicable registration fee.

5. 5
   Receive the RCMC

   APEDA verifies the application and issues the Registration-cum-Membership Certificate.
