Ongoing Compliance
GST Return Filing in India
Once you hold a GSTIN, returns are due whether or not you traded — and a missed return blocks the next one, so a single gap compounds. We file GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and the annual GSTR-9 on schedule, reconcile them against your books and your suppliers' filings, and flag input tax credit you are about to lose before the window closes.

FAQs
GST Return Filing — questions, answered.
Do I have to file GST returns if I had no sales?
Yes. A nil return is still a return. Skipping it blocks your next filing and accrues late fees, which is how a quiet month turns into a compounding problem.
What happens if I miss a GST return?
Late fees and interest accrue, and you cannot file the following period until the earlier one is filed. Because the returns are sequential, one missed month blocks every month after it.
What is input tax credit reconciliation, and why does it matter?
Your claimable credit depends on your suppliers actually filing their returns. Reconciling your purchases against GSTR-2B catches suppliers who have not filed, while there is still time to chase them. Unreconciled credit is simply lost.
Can you take over filings from my current accountant?
Yes. We review your previous returns for gaps and mismatches before taking over, so you know what you are inheriting rather than discovering it at a notice.
