Overview

The Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC) is the recognised council for exporters of services, set up under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry with the Directorate General of Foreign Trade. Registering with SEPC provides a Registration-cum-Membership Certificate for service exporters across covered sectors such as consultancy, healthcare, education, and other services. The certificate supports access to Foreign Trade Policy benefits for services and the council's promotion activities. Applications are filed through the DGFT e-RCMC framework.

The process

1. 1
   Confirm sector coverage

   Check that your service falls within the sectors covered by SEPC.

   Apply through DGFT e-RCMC

   File the RCMC application selecting SEPC as the issuing agency.

   Submit documents

   Upload the IEC, business documents, and service details for review.

4. 4
   Pay membership fee

   Complete payment of the applicable SEPC membership fee.

5. 5
   Certificate issued

   SEPC verifies and issues the Registration-cum-Membership Certificate.
