TEXPROCIL Registration

Membership for cotton textile exporters.

Overview

TEXPROCIL, the Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council, is the recognised body for exporters of cotton textiles, including cotton yarn, fabrics, and made-ups. Registering with TEXPROCIL provides a Registration-cum-Membership Certificate for the cotton textiles segment. The certificate supports access to Foreign Trade Policy benefits and the council's trade promotion activities. It is set up under the Ministry of Textiles framework for export promotion.

Objective

To register cotton textile exporters with TEXPROCIL so they can obtain an RCMC and access trade promotion support for the sector.

  • Holder of a valid Import Export Code
  • Exporters of cotton yarn, fabrics, made-ups, and related products
  • Manufacturer exporters and merchant exporters in the cotton textiles segment
  • Firms, LLPs, and companies engaged in cotton textile exports

The process

  1. 1
    Confirm product coverage

    Check that your export items fall within the cotton textiles categories handled by TEXPROCIL.

  2. 2
    Apply through DGFT e-RCMC

    File the RCMC application selecting TEXPROCIL as the issuing agency and attach business details.

  3. 3
    Submit documents

    Upload the IEC, company documents, and product details for the council's review.

  4. 4
    Pay membership fee

    Complete payment of the applicable TEXPROCIL membership fee.

  5. 5
    Certificate issued

    TEXPROCIL verifies and issues the Registration-cum-Membership Certificate.

  • Import Export Code certificate
  • PAN of the business
  • GST registration certificate
  • Certificate of incorporation or partnership deed
  • Bank certificate or cancelled cheque
  • Details of cotton textile products to be exported
