ZED Certification

Overview

ZED stands for Zero Defect Zero Effect, and the MSME Sustainable (ZED) Certification is a scheme of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to encourage MSMEs to adopt quality practices with minimal environmental impact. It is implemented by the Quality Council of India and offers certification across defined levels, with government support and incentives for participating enterprises. It is a scheme-based certification rather than a statutory licence.

The process
